christmas social
We are currently in the prcess of organising a Christmas Social for all PASOC members. This will hopefully be at or near the university, be held after lectures and open to all PASOC members.

appendicular Skeletal x-Ray interpretation
Neil Kilbey BSc(Hons), PGDip
Advanced Practice Reporting Radiographer, Basildon and Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Neil Kilbey, a reporting radiographer from Essex, is going to come along and give all PASOC members a tutorial on how to interpret both appendicular and axial skeletal x-rays. He will start off with the basics of how to approach x-ray interpretation, follow on with a structured analysis and then give us all the chance to practice reporting some x-rays under his supervision. This will enable us to be have some basic knowledge in x-ray interpretation prior to going out on placement.

ecg basics and interpretation
James Young
Senior Cardiac Physiologist, Essex Cardiothoracic Centre
James Young is a senior cardiac physiologist, working in both cardiac pacing / complex devices and the electrophysiologist labs. He is coming along to give us a talk on the basics behind ECG interpretation so that we have an understanding of the kind of things to expect to see in clinical practice.
