The committee will form the princple governance of the Physician Associate Society (PASOC) act as a liasion between society members and the Student Union. They will, alongside the support and guidance of members, shape the values and objectives of the society as well as offer guidance and support to both current and future PA students.
We actively encourage all PA students to join the PA Society as well as encourage other students who may be interested in becoming a PA or finding out more about the PA role to join PASOC. We are open to all Anglia Ruskin students, across all campus'.
Committee Members //
Hey there! I'm Jamie and I'm the 2015-2016 PASOC President and one of the original founder of the ARU PASOC! My main role is to organise PASOC events and oversee the running of PASOC with the advice, support and guidance of other PASOC committee members.
Before starting on the MSc Physician Associate programme, I was a practising Diagnostic Radiographer (well to tell you the truth, I still am!). I studied in central London and trained and now work in Essex. It has given me a fantastic foundation to begin life as a PA student and I hope that I can share some of the skills I have picked up along the way with other PASOC members! I am also an Industrial Relations Rep, which has given me a lot of skills and the fantastc art of negotiation skills!
Feel free to contact me if you have any ideas about how you think we could make PASOC even better and I hope to make sure that PASOC is a fun and educational society!
